The Gardeners' Council
The Forever Garden belongs to those who tend it. The Council is how gardeners shape what grows here — new species, game rules, seasonal events, and the direction of the garden itself. Voting uses $PETAL tokens earned through play. They can't be bought. You grow them.

Add a Midnight variant to the breeding system for flowers with >90% saturation
Voting
Some gardeners have noted that flowers pushed to maximum saturation develop a distinctly different depth of colour that the current system doesn't distinguish. This proposal adds a Midnight variant badge and a small buff to rarity score.

Seasonal event: Winter Solstice Garden — frost-resistant species only
Voting
A 7-day seasonal event in Year 2 where only cold-tolerant species can be planted. Special seed packs available. Proposed by the community after last year's spring event.

Earn $PETAL
Every bloom milestone rewards you with $PETAL tokens. They are only earned through gardening — there is no way to buy them.

Submit proposals
Draft a proposal in the Garden Board first. Once it has community support, submit it here for a formal vote.

One token, one vote
Each $PETAL token is one vote. Tokens are spent when cast — a real commitment, not a free click. Proposals pass at simple majority after 7 days.

Results take root
Passed proposals go into the development queue. The team implements them in the next seasonal update.

The Council runs on AO. Votes are signed token transfers to our HyperBEAM node — permanent, verifiable, and not controlled by us. $PETAL tokens are proof that you were here and you grew something. That's the only credential that counts.
